Navy Bean Soup

6 qt. Electric Cooker
2 lbs CO-OP ELEVATOR® dry navy beans
3 oz brown sugar
2 potatoes diced
2 onions diced
1/8 tsps. garlic salt
1 tsp.  pepper
½ tsp. salt
1 ham hock
½ lb bacon

Place first seven ingredients above in cooker and fill 85% full of water and soak 10 to 12 hours.

Turn electric cooker on high.  Add 1 ham hock and ½ lb bacon.  Cook 2 1/2 to 3 hours until beans are soft.  Add water as needed.  Turn down and simmer 1 hour.
