Hearty Small Red Bean Chili

2 cups CO-OP ELEVATOR® dry Small Red Kidney Beans
2 celery stalks chopped
1 – 46 oz can tomato juice
1 – 28 oz can crushed tomatoes
1 – 14 ½ oz can petite cut diced tomatoes with jalapenos
1 – 15 oz can stewed tomatoes diced
10 jalapeno rings diced
1 – 16 oz jar salsa
1 medium onion chopped
3 lbs lean hamburger
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp onion powder
1 tsp ground pepper
1 tsp chili powder
1 package dry hot chili mix

Soak beans in water for 8-10 hours. Drain and rinse the beans.

Place beans in large kettle and add enough fresh water to cover the beans. Boil beans and 2 stalks chopped celery for 50 minutes or until beans are tender.  While these are cooking put the next 6 ingredients in a large crock pot.

Cook hamburger, onion, and seasonings in frying pan, drain grease.  Add packet of dry chili mix and mix together.  Add to crock pot and simmer 6 to 7 hours.
